DALTON`S NEIGHBORHOOD

Dalton`s neighborhood, Dalton had a big ethnic diversity in his neighborhood. He had people and races from all over the world. Different accents different languages but the kids have only same accent with their life style. Dalton has learnt many things that impacted directly on his life style. His different neighborhood made him to have a good understanding of his language. Language or being a person who holds a pacific citizenship or a pacific race is very hard to understand. But when you travel or explore another culture you will find what is your language and your culture value. In Dalton`s case, he does not need to travel or to explore another culture to understand his own because his neighborhood has a mixture of races and cultures. He was really young to understand what is his race means or his skin color. He started to think how people treat him as a white kid who lives in an inner project. White people usually have good living standards. He was something different from everybody there. He started to think what means of whiteness. All these factors have impacted on his life to understand how people think from other races.

DALTON`S FAMILY

Dalton`s family, we all know the importance of being in a good family. Dalton`s family is an educated family which has the requirement to be a success person in life. Dalton`s father, he was a painter who studied art in college. However, he does not have a nice job to have a reasonable income from it. At that time, Art was not that good field to have a nice job with reasonable salary. Being a painter at that time needs to have a lot of money to make money for example he needs a nice place to show his work in it. And of course he doesn’t have that much money to operate a gallery store even in his poor neighborhood. That`s why he worked a part time job to have some money to cover the expenses that he needs to operate his home expenses. Dalton`s mother, she was a writer. Every morning she was reading newspaper in a coffee shop. She has a nice job in contrast of her husband has. She was trying to help the father in the life expenses. She did really a great job to share the money with her husband. Many women do not like to spend anything on home because they think this is the father job. She had really important impact on Dalton`s life. Many factors have reflected on Dalton`s life from his mother because of her education and her responsibility towards the family. Now, we can see that Dalton`s family has shaped Dalton`s life to be a successful person and also a high -educated person.

WHO IS DALTON

Dalton is a white kid who was living in an inner-project in New York City. His parents do not have enough money to move to a better apartment. Being in an inner-project provides Dalton to explore many different things that is early for a white kid to realize. Many influences have taken a place on his life. These influences are such as his neighborhood, his friends, his school, the facilities that he can access to learn and his socio-economic status. We all know the importance of the way we live and where we live and with whom we deal. Sometimes when we live in a poor area or when we see how poor people live we try to overcome that by taking many challenges to succeed in our life. Being in this bad situation makes the human does whatever can do to overcome his destiny of being poor. We will see the influences that affects on Dalton`s life in the following paragraphs.

OUR EXPERIENCE IN USA

Finally, and after all, we had really good time in United States. Being in United States gives us a good understanding what other people think about us. And also, being in the United States makes us to really understand our own culture and our own language. Being in another country gives the travelers an opportunity to adapt with many circumstances that happen around them. For me I found out what Americans think about my culture and what Egyptians think about the American Culture. Now I can answer these questions for anyone who wants to know. In the beginning, I really did not understand my culture because I did not try another. And also, I understood what Americans are and how they think towards Arabs and Muslims. I found that they know how Arabs are because they live with them and they know that not all Arabs are bad. There are only some people who want to make profits over people lives and their freedom. And also for me I found that we have wrong ideas about Americans. America consists from a mixture of the world. I called America “Mini World” because it has all languages and all races from all over the world. In Contrast, Sonja does not have that much to do with race or religion because she holds the religion that more than fifty percent in America hold. And also from a country which is considered in Europe and has nothing to do with terrorism or wars from a long time. These experiences are very helpful for us and for our countries because when we come back we will clear these minds that have wrong ideas about America and American people.

THE ADAPTION WITH THE NEW LIFE

Fourth step which is Adapting to the new life, Sonja comes from Serbia and holds Christianity as her religion. On the other hand, I come from Egypt and holds Muslim as my religion. That`s why we have a lot of differences in our life style. For Example, we used to have a lot of parties in the hotel where we live in and some students and Sonja drink alcoholic but me and other Muslims cannot drink that. Sonja came to United States to work and visit some places in the same way I did. Sonja had an opportunity to work in Darien, Connecticut. On the other hand, I have been moving all over the places in Connecticut. For Example, I have worked in Newington, Windsor and also Darien. That`s why I had an opportunity to visit many places in Connecticut. In contrast, Sonja did not have that much to explore many places in United States.

Arriving to JFK Airport

Third step, Arriving to JFK Airport, this was the first day to me in United States of America. That was very hard to me because the human resources manager told me that he would wait me in the Airport, but he did not. I did not know anything in New York, so I felt like a child in the Big City, exactly like the child who was in “Home Alone”. I called my manager to tell him how to come to Connecticut. He told me how to get there, but that was very hard because I have to find out where all these places are. Finally I arrived to Darien, CT then he told me to wait in a hotel until he came to see where I will stay. In the beginning, I felt what he did kind of Discrimination because I am Arabian. After that I knew that he did that with all males in our group and he does not have anything to do with my race or my religion. In contrast Sonja had when she arrived to JFK, the manger picked her up with some other girls in our group and showed them where they would stay. She did not have any kind of problems when she came to the United States. That`s why she did not use English that much when she arrived. In contrast, I had to use English to survive in the Big Apple.

coming to United States

Second, coming to United States when I got the Visa Approval from Cairo Embassy I had at the same time final exams in my college. I knew from that time that I may stay in United States for a while. At that time, I wanted to see everything in Egypt. I went to many places to say bye before I leave. I went also to Military Ministry to have a permission to leave the country because I did not do Military Service because of my education all that was in one week only. That`s why I did not study that much for my college. However, I got high grades. My family was happy because I achieved what I wanted which was traveling to the United States. Then I said bye to my friends and my family and then I prepared myself to travel to United States. In contrast, Sonja had. Her family did not want her to leave Serbia and leave them alone and wanted to cancel her flight because they know that Sonja is ambitious and, she wants to break the life routine. Many of her friends said bye to her and wanted her to do what she wants to do not what her family wants. She was very happy with that. Finally, she left.

GETTING A VISA

First, getting the American Visa from Cairo Embassy, I come from Egypt and my native language is Arabic. That`s why I had some difficulties when I tried to get my student visa. For Example, my name which is similar somehow to the guy who was a pilot in 9-11 Accident. That`s why they checked about everything like my college records and police records. Not only that but also they sent my file to Washington, US to see if I have any relation with any Militias around the world. Then I got the approval from Washington then they gave me the visa. On the other hand, Sonja comes from Serbia which located in Europe that`s why she did not have the problems that I had. I guess her visa approval was guaranteed. That`s why she can come to United States and leave easily not like me.

IMMIGRATION CHALLENGES IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Many people ask why we have immigration systems in our world. Everybody was born on the earth has the right to live or move to or from any part in the world. Immigration systems make a lot of difficulties in front of people to move from place to place which is considered against human rights. Human Rights Organizations try to overcome that by helping people and countries all over the world. Each country in our world has its own Immigration system which depends on the Economic or the Home Land Security. I will take United States of America as the country that I will talk about because I have a huge Immigration experience in it. United States of America is the biggest country that has ethnic diversity in our world. It welcomes millions of immigrants every year. In 2007, I was one from these millions who came to United States of America and so did my friend Sonja. We came here in a program called Work and travel to United States. We have a lot of similarities and also a lot of differences between where we come from and what our traditions are or even what our native language is.

THE ARGUE

Finally, I should say to these Christian Scientist parents that the death of their daughter is their fault. And God will never tolerate you for that. God does not say to kill . God did our religion to live happy. I guess they should punish themselves for doing that. At least they should try to banned these believes alone and also that can try to tell their Christian scientist friends to do the same inside the church and outside it. In my opinion, religion science can only make our spirits clean and calm.

the situation

So as we have seen that each one cannot separate from the other and cannot solve the problem alone without the other partner. So from that point of this example we can see that each partner needs the other partner with him to succeed. So whatever our religion or our believes towards God or any other thing we should put both partners together to survive In the current world. I mean from partner word that religion and the medical science should be together at all times. Our believes and doctors believes should be going with the same track.

Physical supporters argue

Physical supporters said that they should be punished for being the main reason for that girl death. Not only that they wanted to make a new law that supports their argue. Later, scientists of the county church argue the physical treatments supporters and said that the doctors themselves with their technologies and their equipment sometimes their operations fail and we do not sue them for that, so how come we sue Christian scientists for trying to treat their daughters and their try was failed. We cannot imagine having Christian parents kill their daughter.

Mr. Hermensons and his wife

Mr. Hermensons and his wife had a seven year old girl. One day, she was at school and her teacher noticed that she is sick. She asked her what`s going on with you. She asked her” Are you okay?” she said actually I`m not feeling well. He told her parents about that and her parents told the teacher that they noticed that and they are working on that. MR. Hermensons and her husband were Christian Scientist at the county church. They preferred to treat her with prayers rather than going to a physician to get a physical treatment. The girl had diabetes so every day she feels like a dizzy and her bones were itch and weak. After the charismas, her parents were coming back from conference for Christian Scientist. Next day they found their daughter died. They went to the court for the first time to have a case like that in the courts. They was the first parents to go to the court for religion believes. The court classified the case as a third degree crime which means a crime without intending to make the crime. This case gives the criminal from four to seven years in the jail. Their attorney said that this is their religion freedom. And they should not get sued for that.

Religions

Religions, each one of us has his own thinking about others and about himself and his nature. Each one of us could be a Muslim or Christian or Jewish or any other even without any religion at all. But the thing that we could harm ourselves because of our religion believes. However, our believes always right because this is how we saw from our parents and our families. But the thing that we have to use our minds because when our messengers came to the Earth there were no technologies or even Medical treatments that we have now. So we have to use the technology, and medicine with our religion traditions to survive. Everybody has the right to hold the religion that he believes or his family believes. But we cannot use materials from thousands years now. Because they did not have these kind of diseases that been caused from our technologies that we use. Our technology systems are the main reason for our dieses, so the most important thing that we should care about is our health and the relation with our religion whatever is. I have an example from United States. It happened in Florida.

ISMAILIA, EGYPT WHERE I LIVED FOR TWENTY YEARS

Ismailia is the capital of Egypt`s Al Ismaylyah Governate. It has a population (including surrounding

rural areas) of approximately 750,000. It is located on the west bank of the Suez Canal, approximately half way between Port Said to the north and Suez to the south. The Canal widens at that point to include Timsah, one of the Bitter lakes linked by the Canal. It is an administration center for the Suez Canal and still has a large number of Colonial housing dating from British and French involvement with the Canal. Most of these buildings are still used by Canal employees and officials.
Education
Ismailia is the home of Suez Canal University, established in 1976 to serve the region of Suez Canal and Sinai. Suez Canal University now is one of the fast growing educational institutes in Egypt with many students studying abroad.
Tourism
Ismaïlia does get tourists from within Egypt, but is not a major tourism destination for international tourists. The city is approximately a ninety minute automobile drive from Cairo. From Ismaïlia it is approximately a four hour drive to Sharm el Sheikh in South Sinai. Driving to the Taba Border Crossing at Taba and the Rafah Border Crossing at Rafah are both approximately four hour drives.
Sports
Ismaïlia's Sporting Club's soccer team Ismaily SC enjoys broad support from within the city and governorate, with fan bases extending to other Egyptian cities. The club's performance is considered a major political issue, and can tend to dictate the city's mood. The team enjoys brief stints of competition for local and international competition, but its financial situation prevents these stints from extending beyond a few years. The team has won the Egyptian League three times (1967, 1991, 2002), the Egyptian Cup twice (1997, 2000), and the African Champions League once (1969).
Military
Ismailia is the base for the Egyptian primary army named "the second field army

TYPES OF SCHOOLS IN EGYPT

Government Schools

Generally speaking, there are two types of government schools: Arabic Schools and
Experimental Language Schools.
Arabic Schools, provide the governmental national curriculum in the Arabic Language
Experimental Language Schools, teach most of the government curriculum in English, and add
French as a second foreign language.
Private Schools
Generally speaking, they are three types of private schools:
Ordinary schools, their curriculum is quite similar to that of the government schools, but the
private schools pay more attention to the students' personal needs and to the school facilities.
Language schools, teach most of the government curriculum in English, and add French or German as a second foreign language. They are expected to be better than the other schools,
because of the facilities available, but their fees are much higher. Some of these schools use
French or German as their main language of instruction, but it may be difficult for the student to
study in governmental universities in Arabic or English afterwards.
Religious Schools, are religiously oriented schools that are sponsored by the Muslim
Brotherhood movement, especially in the western delta region. Their curricula differ from those
of the state or the Azhar schools.
Many of the private schools were built by missionaries, are currently affiliated with churches and
provide quality education. Many private schools offer additional educational programs, along with
the national curriculum, such as the American High School Diploma, the British IGCSE system,
the French baccalaureat, the German Abitur and the International Baccalaureate

EDUCATION IN EGYPT

The Egyptian educational system is highly centralized, and is divided into three stages:
Basic Education
Primary Stage
Preparatory Stage
Secondary Education
Post-Secondary education (College education)
Since the extension of the free compulsory education law in 1981 to include the Preparatory Stage, both Primary and Preparatory phases (Ages 6 through 14) have been combined together under the label Basic Education. Education beyond this stage depends on the student's ability.

Note
College education in Egypt is like a routine for any family. That means the family usually ask their kid which college you will go not you will go to college or no

MEDIA OF EGYPT

The media of Egypt is highly influential in Egypt and in the Arab World, attributed to its large audience and increasing freedom from government control. Freedom of the media is guaranteed in the constitution, and the government is increasingly respecting this, however many laws still remain that restrict this right. After the Egyptian presidential of Egypt 2008 , Ahmed Selim, office director for Information Minister Anas al-Fiqi, declared the era of a "free, transparent and independent Egyptian media."

ECONOMY OF EGYPT

Occupying the northeast corner of the African continent, Egypt is bisected by the highly fertile Nile valley, where most economic activity takes place. In the last 30 years, the government has reformed the highly centralized economy it inherited from President Gamel Abdel Nasser
During the 1990s, a series of International Monetary Fund arrangements, coupled with massive external debt relief resulting from Egypt`s participation in Gulf War coalition, helped Egypt improve its macroeconomic performance. The pace of structural reforms, including fiscal, monetary policies, privatization and new business legislations, helped Egypt to move towards a more market-oriented economy and, since the turn of the new millennium, prompted increased foreign investment.
The reform program is still a work in progress and the government will need to continue its aggressive pursuit of reforms in order to sustain the spike in investment and growth and begin to improve economic conditions for the broader population. Egypt's export sectors—particularly gold and natural gas—have bright prospects.

THE EGYPTIAN CLIMATE FROM OFFICIAL RESOURCE

Egypt does not receive much rainfall except in the winter months. South of Cairo, rainfall averages only around 2 to 5 mm (0.1 to 0.2 in) per year and at intervals of many years. On a very thin strip of the northern coast the rainfall can be as high as 410 mm (16 in), with most of the rainfall between October and March. Snow falls on Sinai's mountains and some of the north coastal cities such as Damietta, Baltim, Sidi Barrany, etc. and rarely in Alexandria, frost is also known in mid-Sinai and mid-Egypt.
Temperatures average between 80 °F (27 °C) and 90 °F (32 °C) in summer, and up to 109 °F (43 °C) on the Red Sea coast. Temperatures average between 55 °F (13 °C) and 70 °F (21 °C) in winter. A steady wind from the northwest helps hold down the temperature near the Mediterranean coast. The Khamaseen is a wind that blows from the south in Egypt in spring, bringing sand and dust, and sometimes raises the temperature in the desert to more than 100 °F (38 °C).

GEOGRAPHY OF EGYPT COMPARING WITH OTHER COUNTRIES

At 1,001,450 square kilometers (386,660 sq mi), Egypt is the world's 38th-largest country. In terms of land area, it is approximately the same size as all of Central America, twice the size of Spain, four times the size of the United Kingdom, and the combined size of the US states of Texas andCalifornia.
Nevertheless, due to the aridity of Egypt's climate, population centers are concentrated along the narrow Nile Valley and Delta, meaning that approximately 99% of the population uses only about 5.5% of the total land area

WIRELESS NETWORK

Wireless network refers to any type of computer network that is wireless, and is commonly associated with a telecommunication network whose interconnections between nodes is implemented without the use of wires. Wireless telecommunications networks are generally implemented with some type of remote information transmission system that uses electromagnatic waves, such as radio waves, for the carrier and this implementation usually takes place at the physical level or "layer" of the network

USES OF WIRELESS NETWORKS

Through the use of wireless networks, information could be sent overseas or behind enemy lines easily, efficiently and more reliably. Since then, wireless networks have continued to develop and their uses have grown significantly. celluar phones are part of huge wireless network systems. People use these phones daily to communicate with one another. Sending information overseas is possible through wireless network systems using satellites and other signals to communicate across the world. Emergency services such as the police department utilize wireless networks to communicate important information quickly. People and businesses use wireless networks to send and share data quickly whether it be in a small office building or across the world.
Another important use for wireless networks is as an inexpensive and rapid way to be connected to the Internet in countries and regions where the telecom infrastructure is poor or there is a lack of resources, as in mostdevoloping countries.

WHY SHOULD WE NEED A WIRELESS HOME NETWORK

Most of us have an access to the internet in our homes or even in small offices. Have you ever think how these offices or liberaries have all these computers with internet connection. Of course they are not paying for each computer inside the office or library. They do what it called a wirelss network.Unless your home or small office has been hard wired for a local area network meaning a network wiring in the walls, wall network ports, and a central switch or other connectivity device in a closet. The reason to creat a wireless home network is a fairly self evident. And while many homes and small offices may have started out with one shared computer that had a dial up internet connection. Lower cost computers and the avaliablity of extremely fast broadband internet connections make the creation of a home network highly desirable and affordable

PEOPLE IN EGYPT

This time I will talk about Egyptian people who I have lived with for more than twenty years. I did not recognize their behaviors until I come. When I was there, I did not feel them and how they treat each other. Being in United States makes me aware and understand the value of my country`s behavior. People in Egypt very very simple. If they have money or do not have money, they will laugh. We love laughing just like babies when they laugh without thinking about anything. Even in hard times we always make jokes trying to overcome the problems. We do not have that good economy that makes all levels in my country to have enough money to have luxury. I know people who live with little bit money and have satisfied life without thinking about illegal ways or fight for the money because we believe that God gives each creature his right in this life. So nobody tries to break that may be we really afraid from god. I do not know but I guess that we care about anything we do. Not because we afraid from being in illegal troubles but we care from God punishment in the permanent life. Of course any community has its own good people and bad people. I can not say that every body in Egypt like that, but I can say that these bad people have been affected by economical or social factors. But I am sure that these people are good from inside. I mean their heart like milk in his colour.

LIFE STYLE IN EGYPT

Egypt where I was born and i have lived for twenty years. We have a great life style in Egypt. We used to go out every night to many different places. Some times me and my friends travel the whole night to another state in Egypt just for couple hours. We have explored many places that we did not know before that we have. For example, i have something really interesting in my hometown which called Ismailia, Egypt. Ismailia is located in the East side of Egypt on canal called Seuz canal which connects between Mideteerian Sea and Red Sea. So the thing that i want to talk about is only two minutes away from my home I will be in Asia and two minutes back I will be in Africa by Ferry. It is amazing place which called Sinai. Sinai has many places to work or invest your money and have a great tourism. Many business men around the world have businesses in this area. Oh if I would talk for twenty years words will not be enough to describe Egypt and its people.

EGYPTIAN CITIZENSHIP IS THE HARDEST IN THE WORLD

Well, I am going to review what is our Immigration system in Egypt. First it is like any country which people can visit or Work or even live but the difference that there is no immigrant can be an egyptian citizen. The requirements to be an egyptian cicizen that your father and your grandfather both of them have to be Egyptians. Being an egyptian citizen kind of imposible even if your mother is an egyptian citizen and you were born in Egypt not enough to be an egyptian citizen. That means each Egyptian citizen has a great family from thousands thousands years. Actually, I am so proud to be an egyptian citizen. These people who built the pyramids and have the oldest civilization in the world. That`s why we call Egypt the mother of the world.

EGYPT THE MOTHER OF CIVILIZATION

Well, i am from Egypt. I love this country a lot. This country from the oldest countries in the world. Egypt is called the mother of civilization. It has all kind of resources in all fields. Ancient Egyptians were having the best civilization in the world. No body until now know all secrets of these people who built the Pyramids and Temples. These people also has known the space. We have a temple in Luxour for a king but i do not remember his name. Anyway, he built a temple in a place where the sun only rises at one point at his birth day date. Sun shines go through this temple only this day a year and go through directly to his face. This is amazed to determine your birth date and figure out where is the sun would be at the same moment. There are many things that researchers from all over the world could not find any explanations for that like all the bodies from thousands thousands years are still the same. Also, in agriculture, Algebra, space and many things that led the World to what we have now.
